Kennedy Krieger Festival of Trees Award

DFD wishes to thank all our clients and personnel for helping make this tree possible. |
Your tree is being used to decorate the Kennedy Krieger Hospital. I am not exactly sure of its exact locations at this time but It is either in our 707 or 801 Broadway building. All of the stuffed animals that were with your tree are going to be used as gifts for some of our patients who are unfortunately going to have to spend Christmas in the hospital. This was a great tree for the children and because of all the accessories that went with it we are able to touch many more lives than with some of our other trees. Thank you so much for all of your time and effort it really means a great deal to the Kennedy Krieger Community to know we have such great support from our local community.
Happy Holidays!

Rock N Rescue 2011
The First Annual Rock N Rescue Benefit show for Abused Animals was a success. The event, hosted by Johnny O, was held at Sinix in Baltimore, MD on April 30th, 2011. This was a family event with bands of all genres, beer, food, special guests (did you get picture taken with Miss Maryland?), and more. This was all in the spirit of helping out the friends that love us the most, and ask the least . Our pets.
We want to thank Barcs for inviting us as special guests to the event. DFD received generous contributions and BARCS made $5000 to help with the homeless animals. We were proud to support BARCS in this event and look forward to next year.
2nd Annual Ice Cream Social hosted by Best Friends Fur Ever in August 2009
Dogs Finding Dogs would like to graciously thank Kelly Cullum, owner of Best Friends Fur Ever in Joppa Maryland and all of her wonderful staff for inviting Dogs Finding Dogs to attend their 2nd Annual Ice Cream Social as a Guest of Honor. We were extremely honored by this request and were ecstatic to give a presentation to all the attendees on the subjects of Lost Dog Prevention and Lost Dog Recovery Techniques. Dogs Finding Dogs also was pleasantly pleased to give 2 demonstrations on tracking dogs from the attendees in a mock scenario of Tracking a Lost Dog. We had alot of fun and made many new friends.
The Ice Cream Social was a HUGE success with great attendance. Lots of Happy Doggies eating their home made ice cream that Kelly and her staff made by hand! The Happy Hounds even enjoyed a pleasant dip in the lake!
And if this was not enough honor, Kelly Cullum and Best Friends Fur Ever donated all of the proceeds to Dogs Finding Dogs. We have applied their huge donation towards the Walker Fund which was set up to help offset costs for families needing our services who otherwise could not afford them.
We would also like to announce that Kelly Cullum and Best Friends Fur Ever Staff and Clientele have joined the tracking force of Dogs Finding Dogs by taking on a new office that will handle such areas as Upper Maryland, Deleware and New Jersey.
The phrase "Best Friends Fur Ever" cannot even begin to express the gratitude we feel towards Kelly and her staff! Thank you!
Please vist our Links Page and click on the link for Best Friends Fur Ever to see their Top Knotch State of the Art Facility! Training, Doggy Day Care, Long Term Boarding, Grooming and much more is offered. Click here to see more pictures from the Ice Cream Social.
The Beagle Bash 2009
Dogs Finding Dogs was honored to be asked to demonstrate and speak at this year's Beagle Bash in Owings, Maryland. We made many new friends and enjoyed the whole day with about 100 beagles and their owners. This event was a huge success and we look forward to supporting this wonderful group of fellow dog lovers in the future. We have been asked to attend next year's events. Dogs Finding Dogs will be there for sure. To view the entire event please click on the following link. http://beaglemaryland.org/web_pages/Family Photo Album/Beagle Bash 9-09.htm
Dogs Finding Dogs first was asked by the rescue to help find a missing beagle by the name of Maggie. From the success of getting Maggie back home, we have now made very many wonderful friends! Thank you to all.
